Cast the First Stone is a board game inspired by the phenomenon of global riots.
Every player has to choose one side: Police, Autonomous, Nationalists or Anarchists. Control of the streets of a city devastated from riots, the occupation of neighborhoods, the violent eviction and the covenants…. Just some features of the game!

Police / Polizia
It monitors the squares and their management in case of illegal occupations. That’s why it has a broad range of units for clearing the rioters from the streets, for the benefit of taxpayers. Indeed it is founded on Public Opinion which never stops to judge its repressive operate. The goal of this bureaucratic machine is to propose the state violence as implicit in the citizenship status.
Autonomists / Autonomi
They took root in the district and they know its streets like the back of their hand. Communication and propaganda, even on an international level, are their main ways to limit police violence. The goal is to build out a social class from the complex district dynamics. That’s why they need to focus on this very moment.
Anarchists / Anarchici
Fast and strong, they’re used to be in the squares. They don’t like to talk or to compromise with anyone. Their goal is to redefine the city in a libertarian path where subverting the normalized reality is the key. The riot is, for this faction, where the life comes to the present and becomes meaningful.
Nationalists / Nazionalisti
Ambiguous by nature, their objective is unclear, could be reinforcing the existing state of affairs, as well as pursuing dreams of an epic, macho, military past. Like their mates, the cops, they’re not really into martyrdom. Their goals range from systematic brutal repression of social movements to insane praising of a disposable and opportunistic Identity. Do not forget to complete the figure with the costume fitting for each specific purpose.
Nationalists Secret Goal
Putsch – Occupy 9 buildings and hold them for 1 turn
Repression of social movements – Occupy 1 building in every Area and hold them for 1 turn
